COURSE: Building Your Idea - What You’ll Learn
Have a concept or idea? We will go through all the steps to LAUNCH! This is a more advanced workflow, but I’m here to be a shepherd! Completion earns you an AI App Builder Certificate. The course is every Tuesday, for 8 weeks, starting April 21, 2026 at 6:30-7:30 PM PDT
Idea Identification: Is it a good one?
We will talk about vetting an idea. Is it worthwhile to pursue? Is it defensible? How will you sell?
Architecture: Build PRD/ARC Docs
Here we will explore building a Product Requirements Document (PRD), as well as basic architecture (ARC).
Engaging the Sandbox
With design & intent understood, we will move into the visual “vibe coding” phase & begin our basic prototype.
Real Code: Claude Code
With the look, feel, and flow looking good, we will export code and move into a “real” coding environment. Bringing Claude Code, an AI agent, into the mix to assist in “making things real.”
Hosted Deployment
With the app built out, tested for security & scaling, & insured against bad actors, we will get the app hosted & reachable via the web.
Marketing
With your app live, we will discuss how to best market it for adoption.

Advanced AI Product Development takes you beyond the basics and into building real, scalable applications using modern AI workflows. You’ll refine your product idea, architecture, integrate powerful AI agents like Claude into your development process, and move from prototype to production-ready systems with a focus on security, performance, and automation. This course emphasizes real-world execution—deploying live apps, connecting services, and creating systems that not only work, but are built to grow and support actual users.
